We would love to make your Wedding day special.

Congratulations! This is such an exciting time for you.

A Protestant Christian celebration says that you desire God to be actively involved in your lives, that you seek the blessing of Christ, and that you are willing to participate fully in pre-marital counseling with a pastor.

What does Central Christian have to offer for your special day as two become one?

The sanctuary of Central lends itself well to providing a meaningful space for which a wedding to take place. Many couples become attached to the congregation through their experience of preparing for the wedding. To ensure the sanctity of the building and the importance that God places on marriage, we have developed certain guidelines and expectations for couples who are seeking to have their marriage begin in our sanctuary. To do all that we can to ensure the success of the marriage, we perform only ceremonies in which there has been ample preparation of the couple in regards to the vows that they will take.

Please read carefully and feel free to contact our staff to ask for clarification on any matter.

The scheduling of weddings for non-members will be at the discretion of the pastor and wedding coordinator who may decline the request of non-members for any reason.

  • Memorial Day

  • ANY day in Holy Week including Easter

  • Independence Day

Consultation With The Pastor

All prospective brides and grooms will arrange for a consultation with the pastor. The purpose of this consultation is to advise you of our wedding policies, procedures, and fees, to acquaint you with our facilities, and to answer any preliminary questions you may have.

Wedding Fees

The basic fees which include: use of our facility, custodial fees, clergy fees and consultations, organist fee for the ceremony, and the counseling program fee are detailed on the Wedding Contract. Fees differ based on where the wedding is held and if the couple are members. The basic fee covers a normal wedding with access to the church four hours prior to the wedding and two hours following the hour of the wedding. Additional fees will be charged whenever the church incurs additional costs such as overtime compensation for the custodians, cleaning of carpets or paraments, or laundering of linens. All fees are due and payable to Central Christian Church ten days before the wedding. Any actively participating members of Central who find the basic fee beyond their means may request a wedding in the chapel, officiated by one of the pastors at no charge.
