Pre-School

Central Christian Church has provided child care to the Danville community since 1955. We provide care and love to the girls and boys entrusted to us. We provide the caring, learning environment that parents have come to expect from the Central Christian Church Pre-School.

We are a licensed facility by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and offer care for children 15 months and up.

We help children:

• Learn about the world around them.
• Learn responsibility.
• Develop strong, positive self-images.
• Develop skills to prepare them for later learning.
• Experience a Christian environment, including weekly chapel services.

We offer: Bright, child oriented classrooms with many learning centers: art, blocks, dramatic play, math & science, books, listening, writing, manipulative and sensory table. We also have a well supervised fenced playground.

The Pre-School is open Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM. We offer care to children ages: 15 month through 5 years of age. Each day includes morning Pre-school class, morning and afternoon snack, and a catered lunch designed by a licensed dietician.

We have 5 classrooms for our Pre-School. The most active period of learning takes place during the morning when children may be busy doing art, building in the block area, reading a story, playing dress-up in the dramatic play area, writing at the writing center, or busy at the many other learning centers around the room.
