We believe in each person's responsibility to interpret God's Word, so we study the Bible. TRUTH
God's primary means of speaking to people today is through the Bible. We find that there is a deep thirst to know God's Word, yet so many are afraid to begin because they fear that they do not know enough to be in a class. We believe that this barrier can be overcome by taking a class we offer called Bible 101 where no one is put on the spot and no previous Bible knowledge is assumed. Bible 101 is a class that requires a commitment to study five hours per week, attend class, think, and be open to new truths. We see people's faith come to life as they gain insight into the big picture of God's work of salvation from the beginning to the end. Questions are encouraged and easy answers are not always found as the class travels together toward a balanced knowledge of God's love and grace.
The class lasts for one hour each week and is held September to May each year on Wednesday nights, 6:15-7:15. Cost is $30 and covers the course book which is known as Kerygma Bible Basics and has been used across the country by many different denominations to help eliminate Bible illiteracy.
